Our open project merges different activities and sectors with the common bond of passion for sailing, design and beauty.
The current design team is comprised of two architects, one designer and a sail manufacturer. DVELAS sometimes collaborates with other designers and artists for special projects or exclusive editions.
The architectural studios of Kahle Oiza Arauzo in Pamplona and Karq Global Design in Madrid collaborate in designing spaces. Borja Fuentes collaborate in producing special projects.
Enrique Kahle is an architect, Arraitz Koch is a designer, Borja Fuentes is an architect and manufactures sails, Esperanza Kahle is an architect.
THE DESIGNS
They are designed so as to reflect upon the original function of the sail and they are inspired by sailing techniques, the way the boats are constructed and the poetry of the sea itself.
LIMITED EDITIONS
A limited series of pieces is made from each sail. Each one of them is tagged with the available information about the sail. Its origin, the type, its manufacturer, the boat it belonged to and its base port.
UNIQUE EDITIONS
Some sails or parts of them have certain plastic qualities that make them very special. We call the pieces that have been exclusively selected to emphasise these unique characteristics exclusive edition.
