The last March 25 the jury of the College of Basque-Navarre Architects decided to award the prize in the Design category to DVELAS’s Contemporary Furniture Collection designed by the architect Enrique Kahle Olaso for the versatility in a design that introduces the ludic aspect and the recovery in the creation of furnishing.

El pasado 25 de marzo de 2013 el jurado de los Premios del Colegio de Arquitectos Vasco Navarro decidió otorgar el Accesit en su modalidad de Diseño a la Colección DVELAS de Mobiliario Contemporáneo diseñada por al arquitecto Enrique Kahle Olaso por la versatilidad en un diseño que introduce el aspecto lúdico y de reutilización-recuperación en la creación de mobiliario.

Lighting designs with recycled sails

DVELAS recently received a visit from the Art School of Pamplona. Under the tutelage of decoration projects teachers Luís Miguel Alonso and Javier Torrens, students will propose the design of a lamp that will be integrated into the DVELAS’s Collection.

PRODUCT DESIGN MADRID Feria Internacional de Diseño Industrial

DVELAS takes part in the first edition of PDM with TRIMMER chair, GÉNOIS bean bag and GÉNOIS CHESLÓN lounger by Enrique Kahle, in the large new building of the Architects’ College of Madrid (COAM) in the city center.
The professional jury that will select the ten best products of the fair, making possible their attendance and exhibition at the Temporary Museum for New Design in SuperSudio, Milan:
- Faustino Díaz Fortuny, Deputy Director of Cultural Industries and Patronage (Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports).
- Rossana Orlandi, godmother of PDM and founder of Spazio Rossana Orlandi.

DVELAS participa en la primera edición de PDM que tendrá lugar en el nuevo edificio del Colegio de Arquitectos de Madrid y que va a contar con productos de 30 diseñadores y 4 escuelas de diseño internacionales. Durante la feria el jurado seleccionará los diez mejores productos que asistirán a la semana del diseño en Milan y Elle Decor entregará su premio anual “Young Talent 2013″ al diseñador más destacado.

III BIENAL IBEROAMERICANA DE DISEÑO

DVELAS ha resultado finalista y forma parte de la exposición de los premios BID12 Diseño y Sostenibilidad con la silla TRIMMER. Este premio que destaca aquellos trabajos que tienen por objeto aportar soluciones innovadoras y funcionales bajo criterios de cuidado diseño, innovación y respeto al medio ambiente.

PechaKucha Night Bilbao // Alhóndiga

DVELAS colabora y participa en PechaKutxa Night Bilbao que se celebra mañana jueves 24 a las 20:20 h dentro del Encuentro Internacional HONDAKIN 2012, organizado por AlhóndigaBilbao.

AlhóndigaBilbao organiza este programa multidisciplinar en el que propone actividades donde se muestran diversas formas de reutilizar basura, tanto material como inmaterial, aportando visiones que favorezcan actitudes más respetuosas con el entorno. Se constituye como un espacio de conocimiento y experimentación compartida para distintos creadores que muestran entre los días 22 y 24 de noviembre paralelismos en distintos discursos y disciplinas y plantean interrogantes sobre la sostenibilidad en la creación cultural.

DVELAS participates and collaborates in PechaKutxa Night Bilbao that be held tomorrow Thursday 24 at 20:20 h in the HONDAKIN International Meeting 2012, organized by AlhóndigaBilbao.

AlhóndigaBilbao organizes this multidisciplinary program that offers activities which shows ways to reuse waste, both tangible and intangible, bringing visions and attitudes environmentally friendly. It is a space of shared knowledge and experimentation for different creators that shows between 22 and 24 of November parallels in different discourses and disciplines and raise questions about the sustainability of cultural creation.

Assembly of Trimmer Chair by DVELAS

1. Assemble the three pieces of the structure and screw on.
2. Overlap the fabric on the structure.
3. To “trimm” the fabric with the 3 shackles hanging from the ropes to the 3 foot.

TRIMMER is a three supports chair made of bended iron or inox tube, recovered sail and rope. For its manufacture; halyard cuff of the sails and other reinforced parts are used so every chair is a Unique Edition.
